Arugala and romaine hearts
Thinly sliced cabbage or Brussels sprouts
Thin sliced Brussels are my go-to. First of all Brussels last in the fridge for a while. Second, they even last in salad form for a day or two while leafy vegetables would have turned into a gross soup
Arugalaaaaa
Baby and butter lettuces
This ☝️ so crispy, so versatile!
Romaine or kale
I buy the spring mix pack
I like to change it between romaine, spinach and spring mix. Favourite is romaine.
Chopping up your base makes it a lot nicer! I don’t like using spinach or spring mix but when I chop up the lettuce its good
I like adding a dry Cole slaw mix or a cruciferous mix to whatever green base I’m using (can be spinach, spring mix, etc.). It’s basically just broccoli, cabbage, Brussels, etc and you can buy it pre-chopped. I also like adding a grain base to my salads
