I have 2 offers, one from JPMC ( LOB IS Consumer and Community Banking) and the other from Wells Fargo. Both are giving similar roles, and exactly same pay. Location is Hyderabad. I tried for revision of pay but it didn't work.
Could anyone help me understand which one is better to join in terms of hikes, technology used and work life balance. I have to join on Tuesday, 16 Aug.

They work on transformational projects like integration. The more technical groups like tax and audit joke and call them PowerPoint jockeys
what is OTS
Operational Transaction Services, falls under advisory/consulting. Mainly M&A due diligence / deal reviews. Expect the higher end under EY’s Advisory wing since it’s considered true consulting work. 160 to start as a senior manager but wouldn’t be surprised for 180, esp if you have the relevant experience the firm is looking for.
Looking for someone from OTS or another consulting role to reply. Not conjectures. And, EY2...you might joke but they make way better money than tax and audit ; ) and their margins are insanely better than audit
I would think with M&A experience you could push 200...I should say, I would hope you could as a SM1 or SM2.
It’s not a part of EY’s Advisory wing. TAS is its own group. Margins are there but volume is not
Agreed EY4, volume is building but small compared to other competing shops
Thanks VP OP for the explanation. I have OTS people working under me on projects and while I understand the margins are good, I’m more impressed with those in groups with hard technical skills. I’m not conjecturing. Generally speaking, the salaries aren’t any higher than PI.
