Depends on industry and how experienced you are if filing yourself but generally, if the business grosses over 150k or nets over 50 a tax professional is almost always worth it. They will save you much more than their $1,000 fee.

Always use a CPA or tax attorney. I don’t do taxes nor do I know tax law, much rather have someone guide me and give me the best advice to reach my goal.
Yes, I use them as a second opinion on tax matters and actually have them prep the tax return. I hate taxes so this works for me.
When I use them for ad-hoc tasks, calls, or analysis they charge me $150 / hr, they do my LLC's tax return for $1k.
