What do people know about Nom as a company?
More likely to Zoom. I think business travel will not return to pre-pandemic levels. Interested to hear what the group thinks.
I also don't think business travel will resume to pre pandemic levels. This follows 10 years of significant change to how sales meetings are held. It went from in person to gotomeeting to Google Meet/zoom/teams. Business travel will be much more scrutinized going forward. The expense alone puts companies at a disadvantage to more nimble orgs. Having said that, there is no replacement for good old fashioned in person relationship building.
What do you all think in respect to local business meetings (not flying to meet a prospect but just locally networking and catching lunch or a drink)
Have always built success on the back of this, feel it will come back. Already seeing lot’s of bars and restaurants back to capacity. Humans will always need some level of interaction, and this is not too costly or time consuming.
I think it will return at some level but not the same. Pros and cons, the AEs at my org are happy and sad. The fact of the matter is you can’t build a relationship the same way as you can talking over nine or a good steak dinner.
It will come back. Once your competitor starts, your manager will tell you to be out there too
