Hello all,
Would like to know specifically about Queer inclusion at SocGen Societe Generale. What is the attitude of mangers and HRs towards treating LGBTQ identifying candidates? Is company really inclusive or it’s just a lip service? Considering an offer with the company but being an out and proud Queer woman, super anxious and concerned.

At least you reserve them only for old people. Some kid called me ma’am in the grocery store and I nearly cried

I call everyone sir/ma’am, it’s how I was raised to treat people with respect, I don’t use ma’am due to age
I was in the military. I call everyone sir or ma'am.
But I got yelled at by a they/them and switched it to humans or f*ck*rs. I use them interchangeably - they are non-gendered.
Good morning human.
Good afternoon f*ck*r. Works for everyone. Also. No one ever wonders if I'm in a bad mood.

Yeah, I was raised to call everyone Sir and Ma’am out of respect! It’s so confusing, and I feel I cannot let go the habit!
Your options:
1. Refrain from using sir/ma’am
2. Use the terms, but look for clues about preferred pronouns before doing so
3. Use the terms based on best judgment, but prepare for some degree of potential backlash if you make a mistake in the future
