Atomic Habits was a hugely influential read for me. Just totally changed my attitude towards habits of every kind--at home, at work, in my relationship, etc. I'd highly recommend

like

Thanks for the recommendation! I’ve read that one and loved it but I haven’t had quite the perspective that you have on it. Maybe I’ll reread it and try to apply some new insights!

The Predator by Jason Burlin, focuses on digital entrepreneurship. Not particularly interested in either, however it was still really interesting and was nice to read something different. I’ve been able to apply some of it in my life and it was an easy read too.

The Leadership Challenge. It's practical for all levels of individuals in all types of careers.

I am currently a year from finishing my PhD and was looking at VC's as a career path because I like to do meta-analysis of different climate change techs. I networked with VCs and one of them was receptive but didn't have the budget currently for a full time hire. They said they'd be interested in working with me to do a research paper over the coming semester, and was wondering if I could leverage this into a full time offer?

Is a white paper with a VC going to be attractive on my CV?

So, a recruiter gave me feedback that my lack SPHR or SHRM-SCP is causing my resume to be knock out by AI and human recruiters despite my position and work history in Multinationals and being in Technology. They suggested that we put SPHR ( Lapsed). I let it lapse in 2017. What is your opinion? Plus if I were to take another certification - should I take SPHR or SHRM-SCP?
