I’ve worked at AT&T as a sales consultant for 6 years and 8 months where we prospect, uncover, and close on leads. I’ve used Salesforce for the past 4 years during my tenure. I’ve done B2B sales where I’ve received awards for it for 2 years consecutively. Loads of troubleshooting, uncovering needs through consultative styled selling, and tech app subscriptions.
I was wondering if I have the necessary skills to transition into a tech sales role. If so, what would be the best role/fit for me?Amazon Salesforce Google @

There are other options besides doing this … maybe try a reduced schedule
I’m a senior staff, I don’t want senior staff responsibility but am ok with going back to staff level. Senior has to ensure the job gets to the finish line which will still mean I’m working over my reduced hours.
Go do a government job. Easy work for whatever time you need. Then bounce back to PA thereafter.
You can take a sabbatical in PA which is basically a 1 to 3 months paid time off for whatever reason; CPA, vacation, family, etc. However you only get paid 20% of your salary during that time period.
I don’t think that’ll work out. If you have 3-4 years on your resume it may look weird. And you’re getting paid less and if you’re really phoning it in you’re not going anywhere. A gap year is easier to explain on a resume than just a year of no progress working.
