What’s people opinion on mediocrity? Like wouldn’t it be so easy to just coast forever, like a nice cosy life, with little to not professional growth.

What are some of the best paid medical fields that don't require a doctorate? Certifications are absolutely fine. I just can't afford to go into doctorate-level debt

What are the best firms for this type of transition and why?

@Capco what’s the comms/content space like? I’ve heard lots of mixed reviews re: consultancy jobs, but that’s not my focus. I ask as I’m looking into a potential position at Capco, but concerned I could be leaving a more “secure” company (BofA) for a raise at another org. that has a lot of room for improvement.

Human interest stories might not be where the money is, but making the switch has saved my sanity after the tragedy I’ve covered the past few years.

PwC A3 here in currently in PCS, but looking to make a transfer into ITS after spring busy season, as well as switch offices. What’s the best way to go about this? Not receiving a ton of support from my local office. Can I get staffed on an ITS project before making the transfer to get “my foot in the door,” or is that not a thing? I know that people say it’s all about story, but with a certain gpa/gmat score is there a “floor” that you’re safe on? For example would someone with 4.0/780 (not me) be pretty much assured at least 1 M7? Or is there a reasonable chance that all M7s will reject them? Or is their floor just lower (T15 for example)?

My brother has 8 YOE post his Masters with a US bank in their rates trading division as a software developer- managing, supporting and developing software for pricing trade executions, risk management and reporting requirements for the trading desk. He wants to pivot out of banking and maybe look for an opportunity with FAANG or with MBB/Tier2 consulting.
