Hey guys! I just got a promotion at my current job to
Sr. SDR anyways my question is would the bump to a Sr. Title carry any weight when searching for a new job

Depends I think what you would be looking for in a new job. What additional responsibilities do you have with the promotion? For example, with a promotion to sr SDR at my company, you start to actually close deals. So (in looking for a new job) you could argue the AE route assuming you have closing experience. It could be different if you want a different route like account manager etc. regardless, my opinion is that it’s a tough job market so I’d focus on really selling myself to interviewers

What is the difference between associate manager and manager levels?

Okay so, its been a while since I've been seeing this in Linkedin:
The Job requirement says its Entry Level, but the experience it requires is always 6 year+... like how would a fresher match that.. should I've started coding at 6th grade or what?

I understand that it's a way of "SEO" in LinkedIn but it just discourages us freshies.

Actually not sure if this post belongs in this bowl but.. it is what it is?
P.s. I still apply to these because what's the worst that could happen... right?

I am going to work as Audit Associate at KPMG in 2023. I am thinking to stay there for more than a year, then make an attempt into banking. I really hate the CPA exams for its soul-crushing elements. I am rather planning to break into the top MBA programs at the time. I have financial resources to do so but I feel quite mixed after getting the Macc for KPMG position without pursuing the CPA.

Top SDRs oftentimes don't sound like traditional salespeople when cold calling. They use a very casual voice tone.

Here are a few tips:

1. Avoid upward inflections at the end of sentences. This makes it sound like everything you ask is a question
2. Slow down and eliminate buzzwords. Speaking fast makes you sound nervous and less confident
3. Avoid reading from a script - internalize your message and put it into your own works so you sound like YOU!

Thoughts? What are your top tips?
