Curious what market rate would be for my role: Head of HR for a tech start up, nationwide/remote company based out of Pittsburgh. I’m the first HR and run everything except payroll. Responsible for building comp program.career pathing, emerging leaders program, performance program, all recruiting/onboarding, L&D, etc. Thecompany is scaling and high growth. I have SPHR-SCP and 15 years experience in corporate and small companies. Currently at $102K base + 20% incentive. Seems low to me, thoughts?
PHR vs SHRM vs AIRS? Which one should I pursue?

Update: I passed the PHR today!!!
Well done 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
I have taken and passed both. I recommend purchasing just one of them. It will give you a feel for how they word the questions (which is very different than what you would see elsewhere online or in a study book)… and the timed will help you get an idea of your pace. I smiled to myself when one of my SPHR questions was the exact same as on the practice test 🙂
I took the SPHR in 2019. I purchased the practice exam, along with study material off Amazon - books, flash cards etc. I also used free apps. Not sure if they’ve changed the format but at the time, I didn’t think the practice exam was worth the money. Once you go through the exam and read over the questions, that’s all. The questions don’t update or change overtime. So essentially you’re paying a hundred dollars for about 30-40 questions (if my memory serves me right). I got the most benefit from the books as they had far more questions, better explanations, and I was able get more bang for my buck. I studied on my own for two months and passed on the first try.
