Hello ladies, do any of you feel like you don't fit in to the 'guys guy' culture at work? How do you deal with it?

I work at a company where there are 30+ men in the office and only three women. Recently there was a golf outing and the managers invited everyone except for me and the other two women. This is an overt example, but there have been a few other small instances of weirdness. Do I try harder to put myself out there or do I just stay in my lane at work?

Any tips are helpful!

I just left a very toxic work place.
The crazy thing is they were just named the best local municipality to work for. It's upsetting. They advertise a "culture" but don'tapply it. It felt like a used car sales pitch, I was sold a dream but given junk. I am constantly replaying moments. I have read so many books and everything leads to they were the problem. Was about to accept an offer with a smaller brand strategy firm and got a push to interview with Deloitte for a partnerships lead position that really matches my profile…but love the culture of the smaller firm. Go for big brand name and bigger check, or growth and connection at smaller firm with exciting work?? Obviously just in first round with Deloitte—but 25yrs old, so trying my best to think ahead and make smart moves!

So I was seeing this guy before the pandemic who I really liked. We went on a couple of dates but bc of my toxic work culture I began treating him like shit. He wasn’t the most communicative either, but I felt like I jumped the gun too fast and said somethings out of impulse. Looking back, we could’ve handled that much much better. It was a really intense time in my life but now that things have settled down, I find myself thinking about him a lot. Should I reach out or should I just let it go?

Only get a MacBook if you already have a windows pc, citrix workspace works best on a windows. In mac you cannot use shortcuts like Alt+tab inside the VDI. So choose wisely
