Finally someone standing-up to the cesspool of rot, racism and evil that is corporate America! I hope you make millions off them. I am rooting for u !!
I don't think i'll see any money here but i'm all for standing up against a corporation
So I didn't tell them. But I laid it all out there... essentially everything I listed on my charge I said to their face and it was liberating AF.
You’ll likely be waiting forever, unfortunately.
If I were the company, I would end the meeting immediately after being told something was filed until I was able to review the charge. In my opinion there’s no benefit to either of you to have a meeting today if you’re not all on the same page about what’s at stake. If something got so bad for you that you filed a charge, it seems unlikely the conversation will be productive anyway.
So I guess I would evade the meeting until the EEOC contacts them. You could tell them they’ll be hearing from them and that you will no longer be attending the meeting, but I’m not sure that’s the best choice. It depends on what you think their reaction will be, and whether you still need to perform your job in peace, get paid this week, etc.
