How do you guys get your PDUs for the PMP? I still have almost 2 years until I need mine, but curious as to the best way to get them.

If you are a PMI member, you can get all your PDUs for free by listening to webinars on project management.com. No tests involved, just listening.

like

Usually classes/events sponsored by PMI. My previous employer had internal WBL-type classes that gave PDUs. Not sure that EY does though.

like

They’re fine. Nothing out of this world but not terrible.

A lot of your firm’s CE classes that you would be taking anyway qualify for PDUs. You can claim eight hours of work credit PDUs per three-year reporting period. Also, if you read books even remotely related to PM, you can claim PDUs. That’s a good way to pick up PDUs in the non-technical categories

like

i just have to say i read them? interesting

Check to see if your company’s internal learning is recognized by pmi

I was hoping they’d offer to cover dessert since I covered lunch but it didn’t happen.

I am fine w/ paying but I was hoping the gesture would at least be presented… am I crazy?
