Mine is covered by insurance. I pay my regular copay of $25. I go to a licensed therapist instead of a psychiatrist so that is why I don’t pay the specialist price
I do UHC with the low deductible. It’s the most expensive UHC plan. I wonder if it’s how the therapist is billing. My wife went to a podiatrist at one clinic and it was the $40 for a specialist. She followed that person to a different clinic and it was $25
I thankfully hit my deductible through a manufacturer’s coupon for a prescription I take, so now I pay copay for the sessions (10%)
It’s all I can do to get through the day some days.
Insurance covers a good portion! My last therapy sessions cost $50 a pop which was a bit much for me. Therapy apps are like $48 A WEEK. Seems really intense cost wise. Wish there were less expensive options but going every other week as only $10 a month and I’d rather take care of myself mentally than worry about the money
Insurance should cover it. I just pay my specialist copay, which is $35
Why does PA insurance suck? On my parents insurance my copay was $15, but now with the besy health insurance at the firm, it’s $40
My co-pay is only about $12 per session (I go weekly). I have the most expensive insurance offered by EY but I usually hit my in- network deductible in January so it’s totally worth it
