How many employers actually verify college degrees? What would stop me from claiming a degree from a now closed college lol

Had my interview on 12th Feb evening. The same day late night I got an email asking to upload the Application form( Completed the same on 13th Feb). Can I understand only HR discussion pending for me? If yes how much time will it take for me to get the HR call.

I went through six rounds of interviews including putting together a 30 minute presentation which I presented to the whole team. The whole process took about six weeks. I turned down another lead position at a different company waiting. After all that they told me that hiring for this role was on hold until further notice. At the end of the day it’s business, but I am left feeling like I wasted my time (and theirs.)Totally confused and disheartened by this process. Anyone else experiencing this?

I’ve noticed that even when I include a specific request or call to action, that my emails receive a response less than 50% of the time. Is this lack of responsiveness indicative of company culture or more about the culture of recruiting, since they receive so many emails? Thoughts? Received an offer for non- tech CCM role and wondering if I should accept. I feel like I was lowballed and downleved despite having 6 YOE (relevant but not in tech). Not sure it will be beneficial to leave my current role for this offer to get my foot in the door.

I’m at the cap for salary at the level/role and can’t negotiate offer any higher.
