6%
But I'd say atleast 4%

Up to 4% match with a two-year cliff vesting schedule.
5% match but I personally elect for 10-15%
6% match that is vested on day one and an additional 4% (not match, just given to us) that vests over three years. It’s one of the best benefits my company offers.
Honestly, if offered a 2% match, I'd decline that offer and take a job elsewhere.
Company matched 9%. I contributed the max of $30,000 to my 401K last year.
That’s a great match,which firm?
7%
We actually offer a 4% match, and I've seen it make a real difference in how employees approach their retirement savings. Now the 2% match you're considering isn't too shabby but it might be worth exploring if there's room to bump it up a bit. A more generous match can be a pretty attractive perk for employees, and it can motivate them to contribute more to their own retirement fund.
I always do 10% personally since it is pre tax and lowers your taxable income. But if you can max out the employer match, that is good enough. Some companies don’t even have a match post covid.
Another option is Roth IRA which is after taxes,
They're asking about how much their company should match, not how much the employee should contribute.
7% employer match and I do 10%
Employer when I started was 10%, and then cut to 5% due to cash crunch. Now back to 8%. Need to contribute 10% in order to receive the full match.
6% match
My company does up to 4% match with immediate vesting. I feel like 4% is pretty standard, at least for midsize companies.
I get 9%.
6% match, 1:1 (none of this $.50 on the dollar nonsense)
Yes. I get a straight 9 % match.
I get a 9% match with immediate vesting .
Match 5% , company kicks in additional 6.5%. vesting periods required. Personally I contribute 13% of base and bonus.
2% would be a deal breaker for me.
My company offers 200% of the first 3% (so essentially 6%) with immediate vest.
Most companies I’ve interviewed for seem to be between 4% - 6%. Some have it set up where there’s 💯 match up to a percentage, then a 50/50 match up to the next percentage. For example, 💯 match to 4% then 50/50 to 8%. Most places have a vesting period as well.
