Bain & Company Got dinged after a final round AC interview with Bain & Company as an experienced hire with 1 YOE. Currently at $75k base salary and on average work 30-40 hours a week.
Considering $15-25k increase in salary, but double the number of work hours, is it worth reapplying to Bain next year or better to wait to apply until after business school?
Which one to join PWC or NCR Corporation?

Congratulations, and welcome to the field. Of course, it depends on the salary, but most salaried positions are a better deal than fee for service. There's a common misperception in the field that the opposite is true because people start calculating how much they can make if they see x number of clients. The truth is, in most cases, if you see enough clients to make that true, you will burnout fast. You want a W-2 position that offers benefits and takes taxes out of your paycheck if possible. You also want your employer to provide or pay for your supervision. Best of luck!
