Guys , whoever is interviewing and planning to join , do ask project availablity on priority basis before you take decision. On Java front looks like there is some project issue due to recent slowdown in market. My offer was not revised even after agreement with recruiter because of this.

Hi there. Ex Deloitte Sr Mgr here, currently in tech pre sales (SaaS / MarTech). Recently spoke to both Salesforce and Adobe recruiters for roles that I thought were lateral moves (Sr SA / Sr SC), therefore I did not proceed with the selection process. The recruiters from both companies told me they typically hire at that level, and people are considered for promotion to Principal in 1 to 2 years. I found that odd. Is that right? What’s the typical TC for SAs and SCs there? (15+ yrs exp).

Always have your rep send a follow up email stating what was covered in the meeting and next steps. We record our meetings for situations like this. Clients can opt out but majority don’t. You should also never do a demo without a rep on the call. That is an SE no no.

Towards the end of the demo, try to get the customer to commit to a follow-up meeting or to otherwise agree on next steps. After the demo, reach out proactively (or have your AE do it), thank them for their time, summarize the discussion, and ask if they have any additional requirements or concerns.
Also, if you’re unsure — ask you manager what you could have done differently and if they have any suggestions on what you should do next
Don't ask them if they have any concerns.
Ask them if as far as they are concerned it is a technical fit.
If they have to answer affirmatively they will be more careful to think about any possible issues before doing so.
Also they will be on the hook if they answered yes.
