I have a Christian friend who recently disclosed his addiction to porn and masturbation. He said he has been in it for a while and feels numb consuming it. He has started dating and would like to find a way to stop this behaviour. He says its hard to stop as it’s very easy to access the content. I’d like to respond to him with compassion and truth. What can I advice him to do? What does the Bible say about such sins?

Going through a rough patch, mental-health wise. I have always been a high performer and dont back down from challenges. But this past month something feels off in my head and I have 0% motivation for anything at the moment. Brief run down: work-stress, meeting expectations, fear of failure, imposter-syndrome, negative self-image (probably from all the time I spend on IG… might need therapy. 🥲

I've been working out since early 2020 6x/ week and lost ~30lbs. However, I didn't adjust my eating -only switched to an intermittent fasting schedule (eat between 12-8pm). Now, I'm trying to focus on better eating. I struggle with sweets - If it's around me, I need it all lol and Uber eats is a weakness bc of all the dessert places! My meals are relatively balanced so not a major issue...

I don’t understand how someone can lie about loving you for 6 months. We were together for almost a year (broke up a week before our anniversary). I said I love you first and he said it back. I asked for more reassurance last month with saying I love you more often. Now all of a sudden he said he didn’t know if he loved me and that love meant marriage for him. When someone tells me bad news regarding their health, I say everything I am supposed to say (I’m sorry to hear that, I’m here for you, etc) EXCEPT “everything is going to be ok”. Because I can’t guarantee that and I really don’t know if everything is going to be ok. I was taken aback recently when a friend told me I am calloused and cold-hearted for not being able to say those words. Is she right?
