I do security assurance stuff

PI technology consulting

Tbh it wasn’t hard to switch because I tend to prefer diversity so I was able to jump in and put the time to learn. I started by picking up a bunch of PMO stuff (I’m staff level) and then slowly started offering to assist with deliverables by just creating drafts. Dm me and we can definitely talk, happy to share more. I’ve worked in Tax, Government Public Sector, Risk and now Tech Consulting

What are career paths after switching to an internal audit position in industry? Are you then stuck with internal audit?

Feel like audit scheduling is always done on a knifes edge in that the timeline and staff schedules are enough so that if everyone works 60 hour weeks and no issues are identified then it can be filed on time. But even small things that increase the work can wildly throw off the schedule and cause hours to skyrocket for the staff on the job. No real point here, just ranting.
