If you don’t have previous sales experience I recommend you read this article about closing at the end of your interview. If you can do it effectively, it will show that you won’t be afraid to close in a live sales situation. Hope you find this helpful, congrats on the interview! Good luck :))

Thank you so much, I really appreciate it!! :)
Congratulations on securing the interview! I would be prepared to talk about how good you are at working with small businesses and understanding their struggles, and the value that you believe Yelp brings to them. A lot of businesses think that only the bad reviews show up at the top unless you pay Yelp money, and thus don't trust the platform. I would share with your interviewer what you would do differently to gain that trust. Good luck!
Thank you!!!!!

I know quite a few people who worked in Yelp sales straight out of college (in NYC) and they all described the work culture as toxic, but this was around 8-9 years ago--extremely high turnover. I don't see Yelp doing too well right now, since COVID really did a number on them but don't be afraid to press them on turnover and commission rates in your interview to get an idea.
