Has anyone done therapy using Teladoc? Any good?
Got a random email from a supposed Amazon recruiter for a SDE position (which is not at all a fit). The email is amazon.com domain and there are no red flags in the body but it doesn't feel like an Amazon recruiter due to the tacky signature, etc. Has anyone seen this kind of cold-calling from FAANG recruiter?

Skype into the one you like the least.
In all honesty though, people will have to understand you can’t manage that financial burden of two trips and cannot take 6 weeks off of work. You’ll have to decide between the two and send the other one a really nice gift to overcompensate for missing it.
My only idea : tell EY that you ate too much Indian’s food during wedding 1 and now you are sick like hell. Plus you did drink the water from Ganga River.
You are at the hospital in Mumbai. Your chance are less than 50% but impossible for you to travel.
Bim !!! How does that sound ???
That sounded pretty genius to me M1 #gotyourback
Just book your tickets based on flight rates. Choose the return date that will give you least flight charges. Go and back. Go and back.
It would suck, but you could do each of them by only taking 3 days off/wedding. Not sure it’s worth burning 2 weeks of PTO to go to both weddings. Otherwise, choose 1 wedding and apologize for being unable to make the other; despite what they say, people don’t realistically expect people to take a leave of absence to attend weddings
I know Indian weddings are extremely important. I’d suggest going to one for a short amount of time like 3 days (say you’re sick) and for the other wedding take a week off announced. Just sleep accordingly on the flights to prevent jetlag. Take the week off for the wedding you will enjoy more
As long as it’s not a big ‘whole’ it should be ok, no?
It’s not just taxes, it requires extra visas and other things if you work on a project in a country where it’s not approved or if they don’t have other staff working on it.
Are the weddings really 1 day affairs? How about Sangeet, Reception etc., ? If you plan on attending Reception for the 1st wedding and Sangeet for the 2nd, that might cut down a week or so.
Do you have a work visa for India? If so, do you have a team that you could visit in India?
Can you remotely attend one of them?
Work from home option ? 😅😜
