I left Deloitte for Accenture a year ago on good terms but am boomeranging. I had my first interview today and the recruiter mentioned a case study interviews this week. Is a case study typical for boomerangs?

Context: GPS Human Capital. I was an experienced hire (4 years) brought on as an analyst (didn’t realize it was a bad deal), stayed at D for 2.5 years, recruited by Accenture for their SC-level role, realized D is a better fit and am trying to go back as SC.

Mid level Electrical Engineer in the greater Baltimore, MD area making $115k base w/ $20k sign on bonus. No yearly bonus. I started this job in April of this year. 2-3 years experience. When I onboarded they told me to expect promotion to EE III in about a year. Performance reviews coming at the end of the this year and I’m wondering 1) if my salary is on par with what I should expect 2) how to approach conversations about raises and promotion with my supervisor. Going for my first switch, and got offer from CTS with 11.5 ctc as etl tester.
My lwd is jan 2nd.
I got trained in Selenium in java and i think my selenium concepts/understandings are good, need some brush up on testng.
So is it advicable to kick start and brushup Selenium+ TestNG concepts in 1 month and go for automation role interviews as i dont have experience in realtime automation projects. Good or bad idea?
