I took way too much adderall to study for the CPA exam. It’s hard getting back to normal now. I don’t feel like myself. I haven’t take adderall in over a month. Anyone else ever have this feeling?

It’s called withdrawal

like

Takes like a week to come down. Exercise and get some sleep. You'll be fine

like

^that would be NA. It happens. Eat, sleep, and exercise. Spend time outside and in water (bath, pools) during withdrawal period

like

Withdrawal you speed junky. Go to AA

like

Lool

You’ll be fine. If you’re worried, go see a doctor.

A month is kind of long for withdrawal symptoms to still be there.. I second the suggestion about talking to dr

It’s typically psychological withdrawal and not physical

It will get better, used to do a lot recreationally, 3-4 months and it is like it never happened

You got to detox. I’ve only done it once. But it took some time to feel better.

What does it do to you while high?

It takes time. I’ve been there. Just eat well, exercise, get sleep and try to do things outside.

Same boat, stopped taking it after my exam last week and having a hard time coming back. Lots of coffee to substitute

Adderall works by stimulating your brain to release a shit ton more dopamine and norepinephrine into your brain. This can deplete your reserves and make you feel extra laggy for awhile afterwards while your body rebuilds chemicals. It can also cause you to feel depressed, because your body is looking for that high it now knows how to feel, and is getting leftovers instead. If you’re having issues, try concerta instead- it works by retaining the dopamine/norepinephrine you already have and just preventing it from getting absorbed away.

Man / woman up.

Happy fly day. Did you work out this morning?

I’m having the hardest time finding a new job. I have 12 years of HR experience, a masters in HR, SHRM certification, and all I keep getting are rejection emails. I’ve never experienced this difficult of a time searching for new opportunities. Is this normal once you hit a certain level in your career or is it just me?

I have not been diagnosed with ADHD. I definitely fit some of the characteristics that go unnoticed in females. The good news is if i do have ADHD, it makes me quite good at my job as I’m very flexible and can provide positive energy to my patients. Anyway, my boss has told me I have ADHD multiple times. It seems rude when she says it, and she follows it up with “I say that because I love you” which i feel is so unprofessional all around. Anyone have guidance on how to handle this?

I’ve suffered from workaholism for a long time. Thanks to a lot of great self help books and therapy, I’m no longer putting work on a pedestal and I’m spending a lot more time on self care and my marriage. But, unfortunately, I am now getting withdrawals, because my body is used to the daily adrenaline of throwing myself into work. It’s this terrible feeling of like anguish/unease in my gut, but I don’t have anything I’m worried about- it’s like my body wants to find something to worry about.

I am looking to make a career change to HR. I currently make 75K as a sales and development coach. I had a recent offer for a state government position in a talent acquisition role but I’d be taking a $25K pay cut. I am extremely over qualified for the position but it could possibly be a stepping stone and gives me the time to acquire SHRM certifications and possibly start taking classes to get my MBA. My question is those currently in an HR role, would this move make sense to you?

New in TCS but couldn't understand PF procedure and it's deduction from salary.
I am paying PF of amount 2040 getting deducted 2 times from my salary 1st according to CTC and after salary is getting credited then again same amount is deducted, so my question is this correct.
CTC is: PF+ 76185
Salary is: 76185-PF.
PF: 2040 so it's getting deducted 2 times same amount every month. Before salary is paid and after.
