I’m 59 years old, a contractor, and a single father of two. I’ve worked hard to build a stable life, but the one thing I can’t find is a genuine connection. It feels like every woman I meet is looking for a reason rather than a person. I’m tired of being viewed as a resource or a financial safety net, I just want to be seen for who I am.

Currently have a 5th grade girl who is struggling with classroom behaviors and choices. When questioned, she says she wants to be a boy, but her parents won’t allow it. Hi there. I previously had a beautiful baby girl through IVF and emergency c-section. Now I'm in the process of completing my pre-requisites before another FET. I had my hydrosonogram, trial embryo transfer, and an overall check of my uterus. Due to my muscle thickness, they're recommending with my next pregnancy to have another c-section. I tried Googling but can't find any info. Anyone been through this before and know what they're referring to? I just like to be as informed as I can.

Im a RN and took on a new role working in Home Health. I chose this position because My husband & I recently moved to PA with our 2 kids (1&3), with no family available for his residency program with a hospital. If you know that life, I’m pretty much the main parent for our kids. I don’t want to work in the hospital/floor work anymore; nor do I believe the hrs are flexible enough. I need a job that’s flexible for the kids but pays >$44/hr. Maybe remote or hybrid? Please help w/ suggestions.

Hey guys… I’m a case worker in child safety and I’m someone who loves being outdoors/dies at a desk all day. I’m hoping to organise that at least once a week I can go to a cafe and catch up on all my case notes that need to go into the system.
So far the only reason I’ve been told no is that “if you do then everyone will want to and then no one will be in the office” … how can I convince them that I work better out of the office and get this freedom & mental break for myself?

I know everyone will have different answers for this but how did you know it was time to get sober? I think it might be time for me to find a new job and pursue sobriety, but I don't feel like I'm a rock bottom which is the only time I've ever seen people really commit to it (my father). Apathy isn't the right word but I just kind of feel numb about everything and I think being sober would maybe help.

Wondering if I should look into anxiety meds (or if I’m just a baby and need to get used to this life).
