Any one from IBM ?
I went through the entire recruitment process and got selected for IBM ISL. Now I am being told by the HR that they are unable to release offer as there is a hiring freeze.
Can any one please tell me if its correct or just an excuse not to give me offer. If its true, when will this freeze be removed?

Tata Consultancy I am a manager in Capgemini... have an offer frm TCS. the designation being offered is Assistant Consultant.. 9.8 years experience( 5 yrs with Cap) Even though I am getting a package of 25Lakhs.. it seems like a demotion in designation.. Cg has offered to match upto 23.5 lakhs.. Is it worth moving to TCS on this grade? My primary reason for moving out of Cg is i m bored of beauocracy and WLB at current project. Is it a good idea to still switch with the counter offer from Cg Capgemini Tata Consu

I don’t do work for free
That’s a big red flag for me dog.
I had an interview process just like this that I prepped for the take home assessment with a whole weekends time. They did about 5 interviews and didn’t do an offer. I made a presentation from scratch and it seemed really promising. At the end, they just sent an automated “unfortunately, we’re moving forward with another candidate”. Such a waste of MY time and energy, not worth it. They ended up going with someone internal I found out later
Ugh that sucks. I’m curious, what industry was it for and what was the assignment prompt?
From my understanding an acct manager has alot of reporting to do so to make sure you are up for the task they have you do a presentation. Dont want the data in a weird state to where is hard to understand

Made a presentation from scratch gave myself burn out juggling the assignment around my 9-6 job and then got let go after my 3 month probation for working too hard. I think when the interview process is too intense you expect the job to be and give it your all from a fear mindset instead of having a relatively easy job interview where you feel valued and they slowly increase the workload
