Hey Fishes
Can anyone share Mutual Fund schemes in their Portfolio?
I am a newbie and planning to start investing via SIP's in MF ( Around 4-5 SIP's of 10k each)
Thanks in advance.

I would recommend everyone just buy their own. If you try to split the cost, it might cause them to feel you are nickel and dimming them or cause them to use disproportionate amounts because it’s gonna be a fix cost and they are now entitled to it.
You can just tell them that your SO was laid off, you’re trying to cut back.
Also not sure how to go about those communal things like paper towels in the kitchen and seasonings (we buy seasoning in bulk). I feel like it is a bit of nickel and diming but I’m already offering my place for cheap and he uses quite a bit of my stuff.
They also use my pots and pans, utensils, etc. one of them actually ruined one of my expensive pans but thankfully I could get it replaced.
Also another note: one roommate is unemployed while the other is a student
The unemployed one thinks he’s doing us a huge favor by renting a room here and keeps talking about how he pays us so much (which is annoying since rent in the area I live in is around $2k for a 1 bedroom)

There’s 3 feasible options:
- you provide everything as the landlord (this is how Airbnb’s work, but since they are already getting discounted rent, I wouldn’t do this personally).
- you ring up all consumables on a separate receipt whenever they’re bought, and everyone contributes equally.
- everyone buys their own consumables.
The pan situation might just take some quick education. If they continue to misuse cookware, I’d lean towards having them get their own cookware
When I had roommates in college everyone had their own everything. Everyone was polite and would ask first before using something that wasn’t theirs.
We all had a shelf in pantry, linen closet, etc to make it easy.
Wow I did this same exact thing for 3 years. 3 room house, rented 2 beds for 700/ month. Asked them if they wanted me to buy more consumables and to give me a little more money and I’d get it while shopping. Most of the time everyone kept their stuff to themselves . Kitchen was kind of like an Airbnb, mostly my utensil’s and pans but I didn’t have high end ones.
