That's really low.
BDO 1 - I want 15-20 every year or I walk. Don't give a shit if the firm had a bad year I'm not a partner that's their problem
@ey1. I see a lot of job changes in your future. You aren't getting 15-20 /year. I can guarantee thatt
BDO 1 - this of course assumes I keep up my end of the bargain and significantly exceed the expectations of me. If I don't the raise can go down. But if I do I will quit if I'm punished just because the partners couldn't sell enough work
You people want 10% every year? If you or you office had a bad year then it is a normal raise for a staff.
@BDO1 - probably not. God big 4 sucks
Not 10%, but definitely 5-8%
Depends on your performance. I've always been a top performer and never would accept below 5%. My lowest raise ever was 6%. I would say 3.3% is towards the bottom of a wide scale from 2-8% for performance.
Ey 1, how long have you gotten 15-20% each year? Seems pretty high
The one out of my two years that I was eligible for a raise. Of course I was an experienced hire and may have come in at slightly under market. All I'm saying is that I shouldn't be punished for a bad year of the firm as long as I did my part
PA sucks! CR doesnt give performance bonuses. Salary increases suck... So the bottom line is that w/ the hrs we put in, we make just above minimum wage
If 1.5-2% is actually a realistic raise how is it not big 4 that's the problem
1.5-2% outside public. Not big 4. CR1 sounds reasonable
I'm the same year as you in DC Tax and got 5%
EY 1, considering that's a decimal point over from a realistic raise...I don't think it's big 4 that's the issue.
I'm DC area audit. 3.5%, 7.1%, 17% annually started in October
That's not a raise that's a COL adjustment.
Expect 7.5% for your promo & raise next year.
@ey1 I got 20% in my staff 1 year and hoping for 20+ in my staff 2 > sr 1 year this year. Agree that it is frustrating that it's dependent on how the firm did, because personally I know that I did twice as much work as I did last year
Yeah. That sucks man!!!
