Is anyone looking forward to Administrative Professionals Day this Wednesday? I know I'm not. All I will hear is lip service about this and that but when it comes to the daily grind, I'm treated like I'm slow or stupid. No exaggeration. When I share knowledge that clearly shows none of my coworkers understand my background, they act like I just discovered a new precious gem. I'm not an idiot. My title doesn't define who I am as a person. It defines my workload for said company.

I'm a cashier. We just got a new manager, and she's making things really hard for us. She starts work at 4:30am and leaves around 2:30pm, but she still expects us to stay until 6pm and work on the weekends! She gives us really long shifts and doesn't give us much time for breaks. What should be a based salary for an office coordinator in financial services?
