Is becoming a CFP worth it? I’m considering going for it. I work at a family office and am already a CPA. Want to learn more about financial planning and think it may help market myself. TIA!

Currently have my CFP and CRPC. Anyone done the MSFP and/or ChFC? Looking to dive deeper into estate planning and legacy planning and create a deeper competitive edge in my estate planning council network group. Any suggestions of the better route for this?

This week I started a listen through my entire record collection from front to back. I’ll be doing this on workdays when I am in my home office. Did it a few years ago. Collection has grown a lot since then. But I’m not doing comedy and spoken word this time. Too hard to work to those. I expect it to take 4-6 weeks at least. Depending on how many calls I have.

My manager (female) stretched her legs during a 1:1 meeting and wrapped her legs around what she thought was a table leg. Turned out it was actually my ankle. I was shocked and didn’t know how to react, and before I knew it, it had been too long to awkwardly tell her. So I sat perfectly still the entire meeting. She never found out and I never spoke about it to her.

I need some advice on securing additional debt on my house. The house is worth about $1.1M and has about $600K in debt, so about 55% LTV.
