My therapist and prescription meds have helped lot. I also get up early each morning and read, write, meditate, do a little yoga, and drink tea. It calms me before I go to work
I have started up yoga and drinking tea. Also prayer. It helps a tad
Lisa’s right. You’re definitely not alone in this.
I won’t pretend to have all the answers - I’m struggling with this too - but one thing I’ve done this year is when I feel myself overwhelmed I talk to one of my students. I ask them how their day is going and what they’re excited about. I let myself re-energize off of their hope and positivity. If you have any students who are like this, it may be helpful at least in the moment. I too have the same issue. I now workout more. I have a therapist and take meds. I also read scriptures and do a devotional. I even take the time to sit in silence. Silence is peaceful and gives me a chance to focus on just being.
Carry a small ball around that you can squeeze. Write in a journal. It helps me. Take self care moments at night.
I finally had to go see a doctor for anxiety medication which really helped. Also- CBD is amazing and does wonders for anxiety
Yes!! I see a doctor as well as try to exercise! I believe that you are definitely not alone in this area!
Meditation. Headspace app. Worth the buy. Do it every day.
