For any of you real estate investors, what tools or sources did you learn from when getting started. Can’t find a mentor currently so want to find some highly recommended books or videos. If focused on the tri-state area (NY, NJ, Long Island mainly) that would be even better. One year in NYC—24, enjoyed myself, but no deep connections with new friends/partners. We are required to bill at least 150 hours per month to meet our requirement. My months are typically only 110-130 hours. To those who work insane hours & their partners- My husband works constantly, 18hr days 7 days/wk. It’s for his own business so he’s getting his return but I can tell he’s so exhausted. I work a lot of hours too but not like him. We often miss out on friend time and he can’t escape mentally for anything. How have others been able to navigate this? I want to be supportive but I miss him and worry about him. Do we just keep suffering until early retirement?
