How much yearly hike can one expect at Société Générale ?
"Depends on performance" seems to be a very vague answer.
Can someone please elaborate on a better answer.
Also, Can someone shed some light on promotions?
Is there any policy, like you have to work for X years to be eligible for promotion etc.
Thanks in advance.

Hi folks
I wanted a suggestion from you all guys, I have given interview of PS and got a call for offer after interview and I denied the offer as I have received an offer from some other company, I denied coz I was not doing offer shopping or piling offers, he tried to convince me and when I didn't get convinced he said to blacklist me from PS. What to do?

4 years in undergrad, and got a green card after 7 years on a work visa. Consider myself lucky but yeah you can't just "become a citizen."
Sorry to hear 😕 take some classes or join a sports team or something during the weekends. Meeting new folks is something that always helps!
How small a city?
Keep applying to jobs you want in the city you want. Are you still in the US? Where are you?
If you are looking for alternatives Boston is cheap.
Also, NY is expensive. Maybe you can save more in the smaller city or go back to school?
I moved to another country. Couldn't work in the states without a visa. I'm really a big city person so a small town where everything closes after 6pm drives me crazy.
Thank you McK1. Work and my roommate kind of keeping me alive. Can't spend time own my own without feeling miserable

Apply for your MBA and come back! I have been through a lot of visa ups and downs. Try to think long- term. This job is temporary.
Why don't you become a citizen? People do it all the time.
EY1 I need to get the firm to sponsor me for green card. It's not like I can just become citizen.
I think EY1 is suggesting you marry a citizen, even then it takes a few years to go through the naturalization process
