You’re not alone. I think our being stuck at home, the inactivity, the feeling of being stuck, and the natural depression that sometimes sets in from it and winter go hand in hand with anxiety. I know everyone says this but I started every morning with just 5 min of yoga which lengthened over time. And i try to step away from my desk to do some or eat a fruit or walk around to help alleviate the anxiety. Also reach out to your doctor to see if more help is needed. You got this. You’re not alone
100% this answer ☝️ I feel most anxious if I haven’t been getting up or moving. MAKE yourself stand a lot more and move around. Get a dog. Or an Apple Watch/Fitbit. Anything to remind you to move and not just work straight. Also I have to remind myself that nothing I’m working on is ACTUALLY important. Like I won’t die and nothing catastrophic will happen if i stress less about it 🤷🏻♀️
Yes! It hit me like a wall this past fall. I went from handling everything well to feeling like the world was ending. And it lasted a few weeks. I’ve heard the app Bloom is really good for anxiety. I downloaded a meditation app and got an acupressure mat. Tension relief to the max. It helped. I hope you feel better soon! I’ve been there and it’s scary and annoying.

AE - you should see your doctor and see about anxiety disorder. Try to drill down and see what’s causing it, see a therapist. If needed get signed off. Don’t ignore it.
I looked into online therapies and signed up for online-therapy.com. It’s been super helpful at reducing my anxiety. You can do the online videos and worksheets for free, and upgrading to an assigned therapist is reasonably priced too.
Been dealing with this on and off for years - I promise you're not alone. The best thing is to really start talking to someone about it - ideally a professional but even just being open with a friend or family member can help. Pour energy into yourself - whether that's spending more time doing things you enjoy, going outside, doing yoga or turning off the computer to binge watch something. Whatever it takes to show yourself a little compassion. Sending you the best 💕

Thank you everyone. Glad to hear I’m not alone!
