I work for a small agency and manage our internal marketing acct. We had very few processes in place when I started. I’ve since created, implemented, and trained our dept. on project mgmt for clients and am trying to convince the owner to apply those principles to our internal jobs. They are resistant because they just want the work to be done and don’t “want to keep spending money on internal jobs”. With a shift in Corporate direction, our comp/bonus/incentive plan had historically been based on overall opportunity booking values. The Corporate shift is to drive more ARR and client migration sales (from legacy products, looking for modernization). With that, the booking values for these are significantly lower than net new deals. Has anyone been involved in a paradigm shift like this and proven that the paid incentives/bonuses end up comparable with more deals at less overall dollar value?

I recently had an initial interview for a technical recruiter position. The guy on the phone stated that this is not a 9-5 job and long hours are expected. I proceed to ask how much PTO is offered and he said that is not recommend within the first 6 months of working and the harder you work the more PTO you receive. From that conversation, I saw instant red flags. Any thoughts?
