My utilization will be 90%...target was supposed to be 95%...is this a big deal for year end?

I’m an occupational therapist looking to transition out of traditional OT. I would like to get a remote position in Utilization Review or Appeals/Denials. I also recently got a data analytics certificate so would be open to healthcare analytics. Anyone know a resource or looking to hire for these?

Promoted to SSE with 25% hike and VP as 9% . I had received ACE award in Q3 . I have also maintained utilization report 100% still I got less VP. Can I ask manager to revisit the component

I’ll start. Trying to get non local resources utilized. National Leadership thinks this is the answer to our problems but local leadership is hesitant.

I’m struggling. I left an agency I liked last year due to growth limitations and since then I’ve worked at 2 different agencies and can’t seem to find my footing. The first one seemed like a good fit at first but then it turned out to not be the best place for me so I left. At my current agency I feel super undervalued. I’m always raising my hand and offering to help where I can and no matter what I do, I don’t feel utilized or valued or part of the team.It’s really taken a toll on my confidence

I wish admin utilized Tier 1 supports with teachers. Smiles, appreciations and acknowledging ones efforts would do a great deal to boost morale and climate. I just don’t understand what that is so hard to do.

I think hospitals would benefit tremendously from hiring designers to help facilitate better space utilization, communication, etc.

How does it feel to earn less than US Consultants while also struggling for utilization

I have a Deloitte PDM offer. I’ve read about the positives/negatives and I’m so torn. When my recruiter says I’ll have “144 hours” of PTO (18 days), will I definitely still run into the utilization trap of not being able to take it? Are all projects 40-42 hr weekly caps? I am curious how other inclusion teachers are being utilized when the school is doing remote learning. I find that I am sitting in the zoom class and have very little opportunity to contribute. I am having discussions with my teachers on ways that I can better support them and the students when remote.

Hadn’t noticed this sub before, and most of the threads are old so thought I’d ask a follow up - how has everyone been handling parenting with public accounting? I’ve got a toddler and my wife is an accountant (industry), and we only have a few immediate family in the country- but they have health concerns. I recently accepted an offer to join a company (A) . They started my H1-B transfer and I received today the approval notice for the transfer.

However, I accepted last week a (better) offer at another company (B) and they will start soon my H1-B transfer.

I attend to tell company (A) on Monday that I will not be joining them. Will there be any issue with company B filing for a H1-B transfer soon?

I just started a new job 2 months ago, benefits and PTO don’t start until 90 days in so I still have a month before I can take off any time, and today found out my company doesn’t offer paid maternity leave.
I’m really struggling handling the symptoms and maintaining my full time job. Thinking about looking for a part time job to have more time to myself through the pregnancy since I won’t be getting a paid leave anyways, but lost on where to start looking. Any recommendations?
