Btw, I’m defining toxic as someone who gaslights, undermines, steals credit, makes snide jokes, gossips, throws their team under the bus, gatekeeps info you need 4 yr job…… I’m not talking about a situation where there’s just a lot of work/burnout. feel like these people can be so good at putting on an act and it can be hard to fish this out during just 1-2 conversations……

This is twice now in back to back weeks my boss has asked me where the disconnect was in our communications because I didn’t deliver on what “was asked”, even though I know damn well what was asked and what was done were the same thing. I'm not good at my tech stack. I've somehow managed to perform all my tasks without any escalation/blunders but that also by some help/googling.
I also managed to switch from an Indian mnc to a reputed company and now also somehow cleared a FAANG interview,but i know I'm not much knowledgeable in my tech .

I work for a small agency and manage our internal marketing acct. We had very few processes in place when I started.
