No disrespect, but I don't see how "battle scars" make you a badass. If you're constantly getting hurt by a patient, you're either not doing your job right, not restraining correctly, or not using the proper precaution. Thoughts?

Gave my 2-week notice and Partner has asked me stay an extra 3 days to wrap up a project that I know will be a very long 3 days... I don’t really want to do it but also am afraid of burning bridge. I said yes to the Partner but now kind of regret it. This job has made me sacrifice my health and I don’t want to work those extra 3 days. I wonder what’s the best way to tell them.

I have not been diagnosed with ADHD. I definitely fit some of the characteristics that go unnoticed in females. The good news is if i do have ADHD, it makes me quite good at my job as I’m very flexible and can provide positive energy to my patients. Anyway, my boss has told me I have ADHD multiple times. It seems rude when she says it, and she follows it up with “I say that because I love you” which i feel is so unprofessional all around. Anyone have guidance on how to handle this?

Anyone looking at traveling to Costa Rica? They have a list of states from which they will admit tourists while also requiring a negative covid test, health history, etc. As someone not on the approved list, I am bitter and curious why the population is grouped at a state level when there are massively different rates of infection within each state (not to mention personal responsibility) and you are already required to present a negative test. 2020 grad M&A/PE Associate in LCOL area thinking about moving to a ECVC/M&A boutique. I generally like the work I do and the people I work with, but I really don’t like the hours and the constant late nights and weekends. Currently on pace for 2250. Boutique I have been eyeing has billable hour requirement of 1500-1600 and comes with a 20-25% paycut. Is this a stupid idea and should I grind it out until I can move in house? I’m a full time receptionist for a veterinary hospital but I also manage the reception area (I answer all questions and if someone makes a mistake I’m the one the fix it) and am an in house trained veterinary assistant but can do a techs job (unlicensed) and I do help the technicians out anytime they need and I’m only getting paid $13 an hour while a crew member at arbys gets paid $15 .
