Not getting promoted, on the bench now for a week and reluctant/unmotivated to get staffed b/c my utilization won't matter at this point for YE or next year. Can I chill or will I get in trouble?

I've been on the bench for a few weeks and I feel like I have a personality again. Not being stressed, anxious, consumed with work has reminded me what it's like to be more present in my life...

How is bench policy in mphasis. I have heard that if you are more than one month on bench, you will not get salary till you are not assigned with any project. Is it true.

I don't understand the point of hiring candidates. Its been more than two months and i am sitting idle. There is no updates from management. I am getting info like i will get half salary this month because of the bench policy. I m confused what to do next
