i use a pen to be discreet, and save it for late nights when people crack open their fancy whiskeys. i also don’t drink (asian flush)
doing a decks worth of comps in one evening is a lot more tolerable when i’m stoned. don’t get so high your work suffers!
Also don't get so high that you make your co-workers suffer (and you know what, this goes for the drinkers too, perhaps more so).
Do it discretely obviously. I don’t do it anymore but I use to when I know my schedule is clear or if I’m just designing away.
You’ll smell gross and annoy people. Just get on with your job and try to be professional.
hey VP1! i agree with your second sentence, but you can smoke weed and be excellent at your job without smelling gross or annoying people.
Well if you’re still wfh and can handle work and yourself high then I don’t see an issue with it. Pre-covid I would hit my pen at lunch time, and personally it just helped me be more creative at work. I think it’s all about your intent and tolerance really
I think it depends on your agency’s policies and where you are located. Weed is not legal here yet so I don’t think anyone would during office hours. But in Colorado, California, etc. ...I’m not sure.
As a junior, it’s not a good way to start your career. Have some rules for yourself.
Oh, the good ole “grumpy boomer vs. entitled Gen-z” debacle. Just in time for the showdown.
