I might throw up.
Could we install our own local software to make others appear naked?
We did a pilot for our partners conference and it was good though still not the same as meeting face to face
I think it could be the norm at some point in the future. There are other benefits to it (even with current technology) that are often overlooked in my opinion.
For example, multiple people can share their screens at the same time, in addition to having the main content up on the “projector”. Since individual’s screens are attached to their avatar, it is up to you what you want to look at, and everyone knows what others are paying attention based on your location.
Also, multiple teams or subsets of a team can work together in the same larger area.. think of it like in the office how you can drift from room to room to talk to other groups.
Thoughts? This is a topic I have thought about a lot and would love to discuss more if anyone wants to.
Whose home do you want to peep into? 🙄

But the camera would pick up the goggles, too. You wouldn’t see people’s eyes.

You read that WSJ article too!
Too damn much.
Apple is probably going solve something around this with their AR glasses.
You would be looking at a bunch of people you can’t see because they have giant goggles on their face. Get with it McK.
Lol telling someone to get with it after such a clueless comment 😂
There is at least one company that makes this software. You become an avatar in a virtual meeting space. Useful actually to see people’s body language to an extent. Also useful for making multitasking impossible.
