Need some feedback! So I was forced to move jobs about 6 months ago due to reorg and the new leader opting to bring their existing EA with them, without even meeting me. If stayed at the company but accepted an offer for a job outside of the department I was in. I’ve now been asked by a manager from my old department to apply for a job they’re opening that would be a 2 step promotion. She thought she got my managers permission to approach me (see comments)

Promotion letter received for October cycle 2021?

A CRO offerred me an internal consulting/biz dev role. They offered 145k TC (20% bump) and slightly better benefits. They also offered accelerated path (6mo to 1yr) to MC. While promotion to MC at my current company is at least 1 year away. The job is interesting to me and fits my careery goal. But my big concern is that I've only been with my current company for a year (this is my first job, post PhD). Would this affect my resume in the future in terms of being viewed as "job hopping"?

Applying for promotion to Digital Design Lead. 15 YoE, currently making about 82k + profit share. 3rd in seniority and department is currently restructuring. Based on some other internal salary ranges, planning to to ask for 106k, about a 30% jump. How does this look?

Anyone have advice for advancing in your current role? My co-worker was hired in at manager level but somehow “proved” he was actually doing director level work and got a title promotion and salary increase in less than a year. I also went above and beyond my job as well (covering for him for a month while he was away on paternity leave) while taking on other projects outside of my job title and got zip—no raise or recognition. What all benefits I can get from LTi in next 6 months or so ?
