What would be the best strategy to invest about 40k? I am already on track to max out my 401k & Roth IRA for the year and have about 4 months emergency fund. So looking for tips on how to diversify.

Can’t find a clear answer online about this. I’ve maxed out 401K/Roth 401K at work. Can I also put money into a personal Roth IRA instead of having it sit in brokerage account/checking account? Or is the $20,500 (I think) number all encompassing for tax advantaged retirement accounts?

The more I think about it, Roth seems better? But the selfish young me wants more money now. Any potential pitfalls i should know of if I just stick to 401K?

I have maxed out my 401k (half in Roth and half in traditional) -$19,500. I’m thinking about opening up a Roth IRA for an additional $6,000. Hi all. The backdoor Roth and mega backdoor Roth IRA don’t seem to be worth it? You have to pay tax at conversion and on the gains.

When is the backdoor conversion worth it? I am over 40 and finally getting a great salary. HHI is $300k. Maxing out 401k while spouse puts in $8k.

Hello. I feel like my boss isn’t giving me credit for my work. They have a direct line to c-suite where I currently do not. I have worked on about 3-4 different projects and have essentially brought the projects to 95% completion. As a follow up my boss reviews my work or revises anything needs it and then takes the final product to share with executive leadership. I have sense that when the work is presented they aren’t directly stating that I did all the work. Pretty irritated. Thoughts?
