We are working on trying to convince firm management to update their very outdated meal reimbursement policy. Do others mind sharing what theirs are? Interested in maximum amount, whether there is a billable hours requirement, whether meals have to be delivered to the office, and whether any changes during pandemic. Thanks! If you don’t mind supplying law firm, would appreciate it.

Also considering leading a similar push at my firm. Not sure if you need names, but it’s in the V50-75 range and the policy is 10 billable hours and that the meal be delivered to the office. Issue I take is the office-only requirement which seems in direct conflict with the 3/2 WFH policy. Our homes are our de facto “office” on those 2 WFH days, which the 3/2 policy implicitly acknowledges, yet we can’t have meals delivered there. And even beyond that, if I’m too busy to cook a normal/healthy meal because of client work, I shouldn’t have to pay for the “convenience” of eating in isolation at my home office desk.

Hello. I feel like my boss isn’t giving me credit for my work. They have a direct line to c-suite where I currently do not. I have worked on about 3-4 different projects and have essentially brought the projects to 95% completion. As a follow up my boss reviews my work or revises anything needs it and then takes the final product to share with executive leadership. I have sense that when the work is presented they aren’t directly stating that I did all the work. Pretty irritated. Thoughts?
