EY still has a pension for all employees. But I’m a partner so don’t know the details.

I’m aware, which is both why we don’t fund it on an ongoing basis and why we don’t get PBGC coverage. But it is functionally identical to a pension.
Accenture isn’t Big 4
I worked half my career at Accenture and half at EY. They’re basically the same thing. Accenture a little more rigorous with the ADM and contracting/scoping. Pros and Cons there… certainly more mature in delivery but almost to the point of being difficult to work with. I’ve had clients specifically tell me they dislike that and others say the opposite.
Pay wise… basically the same, I got a huge bump moving but I quickly learned that experienced hires generally get that when leaving a “home grown” role. All of these firms do alot of competitive intelligence on pay, so to think that one’s pay band is substantially different for the same role is just being naive. How you negotiate within that salary band is what matters.
ACN doesn’t have a pension plan but we do get 100% 401k match for 6% of salary

Retiree health insurance kicks in sooner for managing directors. That’s about the only specific retirement benefit.

I don’t believe managing directors get pensions at any US big 4, so… none of the above
Folks at all levels in the core talent models get the pension at Deloitte. It’s a little different at different levels but it’s in addition to the 401k
PwC has the Wealth Builder program. PwC will automatically contribute X% to a retirement account each paycheck. Percentage depends on level/tenure. At M level it's 5%.
How does the IRS treat the Wealth Builder program. Is it just W2 income? It isn’t considered for the 401k limits
