I’m ok with it. I just think people should limit it to 2 drinks. What do you think?
Me too! Especially in a professional setting. I think it does loosen people up a bit so that it’s not so awkward and serious.
I'm also for it. I guess for people like me who are great behind a screen or a phone, but terrible in person lol. But I agree - no more than 2. Don't need to see any coworkers getting sloppy.
Right?! It’s just a line we shouldn’t cross
Against work events altogether. People spend enough time paid at work that companies don’t need to make them feel obligated to give more of their time for an after hours event.
lol yes I feel this way sometimes. I tend to turn down most events but will attend any big or main ones.
I'm for it, but there should be a limit. Don't be that person who has to apologize to everyone the day after a holiday party
lol yes! Don’t be that person!!
All for it, but at the same time everyone’s gotta police each other. It’s wild how at the holiday party last year my boss was so drunk she puked on the stairs coming out of the building. The director said nothing the whole time but was handing her drinks all night.
Oh wow!!! That is shocking. Is that the norm at your place?
I'm all for it, within reason of course.
Agreed! Its a professional setting so no matter how comfortable some teams may be with each other, there should be limit still.
