Worked in Financial Services and Wealth Management for 12 years. CFP working in the banking channel and completing my MBA within a few months with a focus in Mergers & Acquisitions. Really can’t take the stress and compliance involved with being an Advisor anymore I’m losing hair everyday. Any suggestions where to go?

I am in investments. I do investments within the retail bank. That’s why compliance is so insane FA’s in the retail bank go through torture.

Better question is what do you want to do

If you’re working in the retail banking side of wealth, you may want to only do investments. I’m a financial advisor in the retail banking channel and the random tasks that get thrown my way can be tedious, time consuming and stressful. Personally, I’d rather just focus on investments with clients so if that isn’t what you’re already doing, I’d give that a try!

Hi All,

MBA with Total YOE - 7+, relevant YOE- 5.3 , Skills - CYBERSECURITY,GRC, Audit.

I have got two offers
1. Genpact - 27 CTC (24 fixed + 10% variable plus gratuity) Manager level
2. Airbus - 23 CTC + 5 L JB
I really wanted to work with Airbus but they are not budging from the offer of 23 even after I told them I have a better offer from Genpact with better position. HR said they will come back..

Heading into 2023, here are some phrases I'm eliminating:

1. "No worries."
2. "No problem."
3. "Sorry to bother you."
4. "Does this make sense?"
5. "Sorry, I'll fix that right now."

Here's what I'm replacing them with: ⤵
1. My pleasure.
2. Of course, happy to help.
3. When you have a minute, can I get your opinion on ____?
4. Does this help you clarify things?
5. Thank you for catching that!
