Hello all, I have an offer from Quantiphi and another famous travel company which is building a technical arm for themselves. Both the companies are offering same compensation. HRs are calling for offer acceptance. I am leaning towards Quantiphi as the culture is well known to me.
But I have to decide soon. Should I accept both the offers and then decline one at the time of joining. I am new to this and find this a little unethical. Can someone help?
Post-consultancy plans? Go.

Tell this young man not to join, he will be better off without going through all of the FF games. An education will be better for his future. He doesn’t want to get behind in school. I know and it’s rough to go back.
I saw yes.. at least just do shortest contract you can do to know if u wanna stay in if not you can leave with va benefits..🤷🏾♂️
Current AD Coast Guard. I went to college after high school, dropped out after a few years, joined the CG and I am now finishing a different degree with tuition assistance. If your son's are driven and passionate about pursuing a specific degree and have an idea on potential career paths then college could be good for them. Looking back I wish I had enlisted, saved some money, learned more about the world, earned my GI bill and then hopefully been more focused going to college.
I’m an 26M Air Force vet. I’ve said this out loud, but. What I think is…. Tell ‘em that if the military is in interest they may want to pursue, to absolutely with out a doubt commission! Just so that the pays a little better. Or honestly, ask him what he’s passionate about and to pursue that.
Not until there is another war to fight. There is no discipline in the ranks and only combat will bring it back.
Not sure how I'd answer that myself, since times has drastically changed since I was in. All I can say is I'd try to give them what info I could so they could make an informed decision, then support their choice.
As a current recruiter in Virginia I advise parents to at least attend the appointment with their children because although the bonus are enticing, a lot of the kids don’t know what they’re signing up for & are regretting it because of a short sighted decision they made. I love my time as a marine and have taken advantages of the opportunities provided to allow me to exit the military next year with a lot of options without any regrets
Depends on what they want IMO. The military opens a lot of specific government doors and gives a candidate a certain degree of preference in the hiring process. With the breadth of jobs available, they could find one applicable to what they may want to do in the future. Best advice I can give is if they decide they’re going to join, be deliberate about the MOS they want, do plenty of research about that MOS, and don’t take “no” for an answer at the recruiting station. Walk away if necessary.
About to retire from the Air Force with (2) sons myself. I personally am guiding my sons to government apprenticeships and other forms of government without them putting on the uniform. If they truly on their hearts want to do it advise them to go reserves or guard to get a feel for it. However, I advise college, trades (if they are tired of school), or Apprenticeships! There are other agencies in Government beside military!

Personally, I think joining the military can be a great opportunity for someone to learn valuable skills, experience the world and even get a college education if they choose to. Therefore, I am open to the idea of my sons joining the military, but ultimately the decision is up to them and I want to support whatever they decide. I will keep exploring the options with them and encourage them to make an informed decision that is best for their future.
I think it's important to support my children in whatever decision they make so I would encourage them to research and explore all of their options, including joining the military. I want them to be as informed as possible and take the time to decide what path is best for them. If they choose to join, I'd be proud to support them and give them all the help and advice I can.
Depends
Id advise a commission if possible. ROTC or an Academy.
