Zs : lower title but higher salary and salary growth. Unsure of avg time to partner. more strategic work than at b4

Big4: 8+ years to partner on avg from where I am, good network within the firm, good wlb

Both would be “new roles” I’m moving internally. From what I can tell I don’t know how much zs will help exit ops outside of pharm.

Although have heard mixed opinions here ! People have mentioned that A&M has a great comp and at manager level one can make between 250-350k, on the other hand some people have mentioned that it is extremely difficult to make over 250k because utilization stays close to 60%. I also heard that the culture is cutthroat and one bad project can get you fired. They also mentioned that you are expected to work weekends. How true are these statements?

Received an offer for a smaller strategy shop with 20% base increase and up to 25% bonus (current bonus is <5% at non strat B4). Am I overthinking this by not taking immediately? Lateral move but likely faster promotion to manager jumping as well
