For those who work in the SF/LA area, what is total compensation like in indirect tax at the senior and manager levels? Considering relocating from east coast.

Best way to quit? email? Phone? If I inform my manager should they inform our partner and HR or do I do that? Never had to do this before (first “real” job) so I am nervous. I am also pretty low on the food chain so not sure it really “matters”. I am also expecting a bonus so if I give two weeks before it is paid do I still get it or do I need to wait? Thank you 🐠!

Have an offer from Deloitte too but decided to select one between A&M and EY Parthenon.

Need advice on a couple offers/ possibilities.

2. Manager role at S&/OW/EYP
3. Business team manager role at salesforce (middle of process)
4. Director F500 (starting interview process now)

Comp and location similar. Im leaning second option because I want the title bump / don’t want to take a step back again.

How to handle internal $ negotiations? Interviewing for a new role, was initially hired on and under “leveled” w/r/t role, seniority, compensation @ top asset manager. Former manager didn’t appreciate or understand sell-side levels/titles when I was brought in. Current comp is huge point of frustration, but up for something better aligned with long-term goals. Have an offer for 105 (this is firm) as a Product Manager at a Bank. (MS/JP/GS)
Also should be getting an SC offer from EY around 120-125.
What should I take? like the PM role but don’t know if I’m ready to focus on FS yet, but like the flexibility of being anywhere in the US and the higher base. 4 YOE and currently at 81k, want to maximize salary increase when I move (first time).

just got an offer for 150k, I’m 12 months away from becoming manager in MC worth considering?

They have some incentive based pay but don’t have the details on that yet.

Looking a the salary table seems like base for that range doesn’t happen till 2nd year manager or SM

I am weighing my options here
1. Option 1: Join the industry at a Senior Manager position in a mid sized med device company in it's 5th year under a PE firm (mention this as there is a potential that it may be sold). Spoke to the Senior Director and it's going to be a clean slate. Need to build things ground up. My base salary falls by 10k. Bonus component is very promising and everyone told me that the bonus payout has been great

2. Option 2: stay with PwC. Take the additional 10k cntd...

Got a product manager offer from a series A fintech co, and deciding between two comp options: 1) 160k base + 0.1% equity or 2) 180k base + 0.07% equity. Think the company will do really well but worried about future dilution. Any thoughts?

I am a newly promoted manager (~5months), I'm interviewing for manager at another big 4 (homegrown, so need better comp haha). 1st round was behavioural with a Partner and SM, but final round is with two newly promoted SMs. This doesn't add up. Considering moving to Shopify for a BD manager type of role in the US. Love the company, role is interesting and the team seems great (met them already). However, I have read comp can be low at Shop compared to other big tech in the US (even though there could be a lot of upside with the RSUs). Anyone know comp levels at Shopify? Fishes need advice, I'm a M3 and my Partners have repeatedly told me that I am the strongest candidate for promotion this year, they haven't said it for sure though. I got contacted by Deloitte Digital, and I am being offered a Senior Manager role with a slight bigger pay when compared to my estimated salary after promotion (10k per year). Is it worth changing? what are your thoughts?

Comp review help:

M, 10YOE in consulting --> L5 program manager, $170kTC.

Base is lower than my current, TC is 20K+ but is primarily because 4yr RSU vesting.

Does this sound reasonable? I'm having a hard time deciding with the small ish bump and lower base.

Got an offer from Bridgewater. It’s a back office support role. Decent raise but I’m also on track for manager this year so the compensation isn’t that better. Main question is, do you think Bridgewater can open up more opportunities than Big 4 (I’m in IT advisory)
