How valuable is a SANS certification in europe? I already have the cissp but wasnt sure if any of the SANS certs would also be relevant

Was CISSP worth it for you? (honestly)
Passing the exam next week. I feel ready.
I’m passing it mostly because I never went to college and want a paper to prove some cybersecurity mgmt knowledge

Working in the DIB in a technical leadership program for early career employees. I graduated in 2019. Currently in a technical cybersecurity role and recently completed Sec+ and CISSP. I did not get a raise or bonus based on gaining these certs and currently make 99k + ~3k incentive. I get the DIB salaries are lower, but curious as to salary and benefit expectations outside the DIB.

I’m looking to join google, I am currently in cyber security and have a CISSP, any good positions anyone can refer me to?

Choosing a specialty? How do you decide what to specialize in? I love learning about all the different areas of IT and various platforms used - how did you decide what to specialize in? Have about 6 years experience and CISSP/CISA doing IT audit work. Thinking of focusing on cloud or data privacy, but what other opportunities do you see as prime areas for specialization? IAM? Networking? Thanks for feedback!!

I took the CISSP training in 2019, along with CEH, CHFI and CompTIA. I have now embarked on the journey to take the CISSP exam (haven't set a date yet) and I'm looking for people who are keen to start / create a study group so that we can pass this beast.

Hi team, got a question about cissp cpe credit. Do I need to 40 hours a year for 3 years or just 120 hours in 3 years. First year anniversary is coming up in 2 weeks and have not done any cpe credit yet. 😅

I’m going to begin searching for a new role, but I’d love to better understand the comp landscape out there first. Asking the below questions:

1. Market/COL
2. Firm or Industry (ex: Accenture or Oracle)
3. Job title
4. Total compensation

I am currently an IT Audit M in Canada & want to change careers. Some areas i shortlisted:
- Data & Analytics : Have some experience in building dashboards. But I believe D&A is huge. I don’t know where to start with and what will help me get a job.
- CyberSec: Leverage some of my existing experience & move into cloud security & then CISSP.
- RPA/Cloud :Learn RPA /Cloud. Not sure what projects/opportunities that can lead to.
Any thoughts on the above careers & growth prospects

Currently work in GRC under fintech with CISA cert. Trying to decide between pursuing CRISC or CISSP next. Which certification is more suitable for folks in GRC field?

Background in GRC just joined B4 from industry (power & utilities) with my CRISC, CISSP, and CISA. I wouldn’t call myself the most technical but any advice on other certs to obtain?
